Are gun control laws neccesary to prevent crime? Gianna thinks so, she believes that if they are not in the home, people won't use it in crime and that guns should be restricted to only specified hunting grounds. Danny doesn't think so, he believes that if everyone else had guns, that criminals are less likely to attack, and if only criminals stole guns (if they were made illegal) then they would have more power.

Is a strong military needed to trade? Danny Powers of the Mutton Head party believes so, he thinks that we need to show the countries we are trading with that we are strong and can defend ourselves. Gianna doesn't think so, she thinks that we should try to talk things over first instead of showing off and making other countries think that we are strong.

Yesterday, february 18 we asked around some citizens who they were voting for. The Mutton heads have six follwers but the Affirmatives are ahead with 8 followers. There are still two people undecided.

The Debate

Today, February 19, The Affirmatives and the Muttonheads had a debate on their big issues like gun control laws. Right before the debate started, Danny Powers from the Mutton heads tord down a a poster from the Affirmatives and threw it on the floor. We quote " Gianna will restrict cars only to GM next" from Mutton head candidate Danny Powers. Sources say this comment was said because The Affirmative party is being sponsered by the Exxon Mobile and GM PACs. Danny is also quoted saying that "Gianna will drive us into tyranny" which Gianna responded to in her rebuttal saying that "I am not being a tyrant, I am trying to protect the people."
